AUDIOBOOK DIRECTION — finlay stevenson

Finlay is on the directing rosters for Penguin Random House and Hachette and has directed projects ranging from non-fiction to mystery to epic fantasy to YA to thriller to short stories to anime to true crime. She has worked with award-winning narrators, activists, journalists, authors from all walks of life, and anime stars.

Her first directing project, The Donut Legion by Joe R. Lansdale (voiced by Joe R. Lansdale, Kasey Lansdale, Finlay Stevenson, January LaVoy, Marc Vietor, Brad Sanders, and Greg Littlefield) won an AudioFile Earphones Award. Finlay also directed It’s Not You (read by the author, Dr. Ramani Durvasula), which made Audible’s Best of 2024 list in the Well-being category, and Lay Them to Rest (read by the author, Laurah Norton), which made Audible’s Best of 2023 list in the True Crime category. She recently directed The Phoenix King, read by multi-award winning narrators Soneela Nankani, Vikas Adam, and Deepti Gupta.
